March 26 – 28, 2026

Cartersville, Georgia, is famously known as “Museum City,” but this March, it transforms into a  gallery of automotive history. On March 28, 2026, the Lake Allatoona Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) will host the prestigious Winter Nationals on the scenic grounds of Georgia Highlands College.
This high-profile event is set to draw top-tier special interest vehicles from across the nation, celebrating over a century of automotive, truck, and motorcycle engineering. The campus show field will serve as a timeline of design and innovation in transportation from the late 1800’s to 2000.  For those looking to take a piece of history home, the event also features a bustling swap shop and a car corral.
In a unique collaboration, the Lake Allatoona Region is spotlighting three exceptional North Georgia automotive destinations. Each museum will show a representative vehicle from their collections on Saturday.
The Savoy Automobile Museum (Cartersville): The crown jewel of “Museum City”, offers an evolving world-class exhibit of automobiles from collections around the country. Through educational programs, community engagement and interactive experiences, visitors can imagine how it felt to own, to drive and to ride in a vehicle of distinction.
The Georgia Racing Hall of Fame (Dawsonville): A shrine to the high-octane, moonshine-running roots of Southern stock car racing. Dawsonville is often referred to as the real birthplace of NASCAR.
Miles Through Time Automotive Museum (Clarkesville): A “living” co-op museum where community-owned cars and memorabilia tell personal stories of automotive passion. An extensive collection of scale models and rare petroliana cap off an unforgettable visit.
